Hi, I’m Tracy. I’ve been in the finance and banking business for 25+ years. For the past ten years, I’ve been a mortgage broker specializing in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Thanks to my passion for mortgage brokering, coupled with my dedicated team and loyal clients, I’m recognized by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation as a leading mortgage expert in my market. As well, three top lending institutions have awarded me with “status levels”, which means my clients receive preferred pricing as a result of the high volume of annual mortgage business I fund with these lenders. I consistently place in the Top 10 on the Dominion Lending Centres National Top Performers’ Report. I pride myself on my high level of mortgage knowledge, professionalism and experience, which translates into providing my customers with mortgages that are competitively priced and have features that best meet their unique needs.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University, a mortgage brokering license from Seneca College and I’m a proud Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) member of Mortgage Professionals Canada. Mortgage Professionals Canada is a national association of mortgage professionals dedicated to establishing and maintaining high standards, ethics and professionalism in the mortgage industry.
I opened my first professional office location in the Williamsburg Town Centre nine years ago, and I manage a group of four mortgage professionals, who are set to collectively fund nearly $80 million this year. I’m the proud recipient of the Consumer Choice Award for Favourite Mortgage/Lending Company in Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020!
I have always remained focused on doing what it takes to run a successful business while also spending as much time as possible with my husband and two kids.
I pride myself on forging a long-term relationship with each client so that I become part of their life’s journey – regardless of whether they’re looking to purchase their very first home or move to another location, buy a vacation or investment property, or refinance or renew an existing mortgage. I love to snowboard, ski (downhill & cross country), mountain biking, kite boarding, wake boarding, wake surfing, hiking, golf, and when the weather allows, you’ll find me riding my motorcycle with my husband.
We have two cats we adopted from the family dairy farm; Desmo and Pantera – named after a motorcycle and a car.
I enjoy working from anywhere in the world thanks to modern conveniences and technology.

Hi, I’m Melanie. I’ve worked in the mortgage industry for the last 14 years and have been a member of The Valko Team for nearly 10 years.
I pay very close attention to detail and am the designated “organization queen” within the office. My expertise is in keeping files in order by piecing together each component of the mortgage puzzle. I deal with all the office paperwork, which keeps me on my toes trying to help out in every situation and ensure all deals run smoothly. I have a very strong analytical sense as well as a solid working knowledge of where deals should be placed, as I keep myself in-the-know when it comes to the latest lender offerings.
I’m the proud mother of three beautiful and active girls, who are heavily into sports, including ringette, soccer, hockey and horseback riding.
I am an animal-lover with five fur-babies at home. We have three dogs; Nala, Mocha and Latte. Luna and Ginny are our two cats.
My husband and I help run organized events through the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as two of our daughters were diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at an early age. We have a huge support group and we also support families who are going through similar situations.
My goal for 2020 is to travel more.
Hi I am Angela, a Senior Mortgage Underwriter. I’ve been working in the mortgage industry for the last 13 years and have been with The Valko Team since February of 2019.

When I’m not working, I’m travelling and discovering new places (locally and around the world).

Hi, I’m Wesley! I have worked in the financial industry for my entire professional career, and have a great understanding of money, assets/debts, and investments.
Most recently, I was managing a real estate asset portfolio of over $19B at a major financial institution before joining The Valko Team.
I am hardworking, determined, and enjoy helping people reach their financial goals.
Outside of the financial world, my hobbies include bonsai trees, computer games, and my new puppy, Bonus the Corgi!

My superpower is listening. I love to help out wherever I can.
I am very proud of my two sons who are both attending university; they keep me busy! In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, reading, projects around the house and spending time with my 2 year old rescue dog Ivy.

I’m obsessed with details and I love bringing our team and our community together whenever and wherever possible.
Mortgages run in my family – I helped my father run his Dominion Lending Centres office, as well as being a mortgage agent myself. Prior to joining The Valko Team, I also worked at DLC’s head office focusing on compliance.
I am a wife and a mother of two young boys. Being a part of The Valko Team I am able and encouraged to make my family a priority while doing some of my life’s greatest work, personally and professionally.

Hi, I’m Brendan! I joined the The Valko Team in early 2019 and have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to expand many of our community-related initiatives.
I’m extremely passionate about sports, health, business and the KW community – especially the kids. When I’m not working with #TheValkoTeam, I’m working with our young aspiring athletes on the ice as I coach them to new levels of skill and mindset.
As a member of #TheValkoTeam I’m able to combine all of my interests and connect with our amazing community through our social media and community-related events and incentives. I’m very proud to be working and living in KW.
Hi! I’m Matthew! I’ve been with The Valko Team since October of 2017. I started off as a Mortgage Agent back in 2009, and have held many roles in the financial space on both the Broker and the Lender side, working as a Credit Administrator, Underwriter and Business Development Manager.
I’m a natural problem solver, with a strong understanding of how to package deals and find alternative solutions for Borrower’s needs.
We can (through our actions) make people’s lives a little bit better every day. I believe that what I do, who I work with here at Valko Financial and the things we accomplish daily do help make people’s lives a little bit better.
Personally, I have a strong interest in real estate investment, literature, politics, business strategy and international films and TV. I love to cook and enjoy hosting friends and family. You can often find me down at the Toronto Harbourfront with a book in one hand and a coffee in the other, or listening to podcasts about science, space and technology.
I have a 1-year old black Shiba Inu named Kaguya; named after the Japanese moon princess.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Gerry’s love for the real estate industry hit early, with his entry into a career in real estate at 20 years old.
Over a career as One of Canada’s top producing Realtors and Brokers and with appointments as Senior VP in both Real Estate and Technology companies, Gerry has triumphed in many Canadian Real Estate markets, from Nanaimo, BC to Toronto, ON.
Internationally, Gerry has worked on projects in the USA, Caribbean, and most recently the Philippines.

I am a mother of 2 amazing boys that fill my life with joy (daily)! Much of our time is spent either playing or watching sports. As a family we love to travel and experience new places. One of my passions is home design and décor. I always have a project on the go!
We have a Schnoodle named Holly that has as much energy as my children!
